Victor Tangie, a young Cameroonian from the North West region, was killed by an unidentified gun man on September 9, 2012 at 2:00 AM. Victor was returning home when he was shot at the apartment complex he resided. He had attended the Annual Houston Soccer Club Back to School Drive during the day. The Houston Police is investigating the shooting.

While his assailant remains at large, the Cameroon community mourned and celebrated the life of Victor. They danced and raised money for his final flight back to Cameroon.
