New Appoints at Cameroon GCE Board

Five new officials have been appointed into positions of responsibility into Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board, CGCE Borad, Buea.

According to Ministerial Order No: 67/13/MINESEC of March 18 2013, bearing appointments at the General Certificate of Education Board,  the following were appointed Examination Officers; Sylvester Ngemasong, formerly Examination Officer in charge of Technical Examinations is now Examination Officer in charge of Technical & Commercial/Business Education subjects in the Advanced Level.

Adeline Ndofor Ngwemitoh moved into the position of Examination Officer in charge of Technical & Commercial/Business Education subjects in the Ordinary Level. Before now, she was Assistant Examination Officer in charge of Technical Examinations.

Examination Officer in charge of Foreign Examinations is John Teneng Awa, formerly Assistant Examination Officer in charge of Baccalaureat Technique and related examinations. Teneng Awa replaces George Nsem Arrey, retired.

In the Mail Office, Gregory Esua Fotabong is Officer in charge of Mails, formerly serving in the Secretariat of the Registrar.

In the Finance Service, the Head is Bruce Shey Sule, formerly serving in the Secretariat of the Registrar.

Observers of the GCE Board have welcomed the appointments signed by the Minister of Secondary Education, Louis Bapes Bapes, noting that the individuals appointed are members of the GCE Board house, who have been serving for more than fifteen years and understand the workings of the examination assessment institution unlike previous instances whereby individuals are brought out of the GCE Board circles.
