The Rector of the University of Yaoundé II, Prof Oumarou Bouba, recently installed newly appointed staff at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Yaoundé II in a colorful ceremony of onlookers: students, professors and dignitaries such as the Secretary General, Mme Elomo Ntonga Lisette.
This installation came as a result of the presidential decree of 3rdFebruary 2014 from President Paul Biya that appointed Prof Tsafack Nanfosso Roger as Vice Rector in charge
of Internal Control and Evaluation, Prof Emtcheu Andre as Technical Adviser to the Rector of the University of Yaoundé II and Prof Magloire Ondoa, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.
During the installation of the new university officials, the Rector extended his appreciation to former officials who have been assigned to other state duties and to those who have retired. He thanked Prof Akam Akam was appointed Dean of the University of Douala and Prof Omgba Etoundi who retired for their immense contributions to the university.
The Rector went to remind the new appointees that their appointments to these different posts of responsibilities show the head of states’ commitment to improve the quality of services in schools and the public, and that they all should work collectively in the interest of the University.
