The developments in the den of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are yet to be over. After some changes in the technical bench of the Lions, with new assistants attributed to Volker Finke, who was recently reappointed, there are still more happenings unfolding.

Samuel Fils Eto’o lost his arm band to Stephane Mbia Etoundi as the new captain of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. The latter will be assisted by Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting and Vincent Aboubakar. They replace Eyong Enoh Tarkang and Nicolas Nkoulou, who were assistants to Eto’o.

After that Ministerial Decision from Cameroon’s Minister of Sports & Physical Education, Adoum Garoua, Eto’o also announced that he is quitting international football, while concentrating in his newfound club in the Barclays Premier League, Everton. Eto’o has signed a two-year stay at the Tooffees. Another Cameroon international player, who immediately indicated that he is leaving the Lions’ den after Eto’o did so was Jean II Makoun.

While the new team press officer of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Vincent De Paul Atangana is settling down to his new responsibilities, taking over from Raphael Nkoa, another new comer was announced in the den by a decision from the Ministry of Sports & Physical Education. He is Alphonse Tchami, a former indomitable Lions of Cameroon. Tchami is now the new team manager of the Lions. He replaces Rigobert Song Bahanack aka MAGNAN. The latter is a former skipper of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and a dedicated defence player.

Alphonse Tchami has scored 21 goals for the Lions in 57 selections between 1988 to 2014 when he traded his footballs for Cameroon’s national football squad.

The on-going changes in the national team of Cameroon are coming on the heels of the disastrous 2014 World Cup Tourney in Brazil. Thereafter, the President of the Republic of Cameroon, Paul Biya ordered the Prime Minister, Philemon Yang to do an inquiry of what prompted a disgraceful outing of Cameroon at the Brazil rendez-vous.

Though the findings of the Yang Commission have not been made public, actions are already been taken within circles of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. So, are there more actions in perspective?

In another development, Alexander Song, a player of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, who is undergoing a 3-international-match ban by FIFA, for being violent in the world cup match pitting Cameroon against Croatia,  has signed a one-year contract with English Premiere Club side, West Ham. Song is quitting Barcelona FC, after new coach, Luis Enrique has not made him part of his game plans for the new season, 2014/2015.

Song is coming back to the Barclay Premiere League after two difficult seasons in Spain. Before the Barcelona stopover the Cameroonian holding midfielder was in Arsenal, England.

Back to England, Song is expected to do what he is suppose to be doing and doing well – regularly playing professional football.
