John Fru Ndi has been re-elected Chairman of the Social Democratic Front. He was elected during the eighth convention of the party that held in Bamenda in the North West Region.

The Former Government Delegate of the Douala Urban Council, Edouard Etonde Ekoto has been acquitted in the case of embezzlement of close seven million CFA francs.

 The Wouri High Court has handed down the verdict of the case pitting  the former General Manager of SCDP and six co-accused.

The presidential couple is back in Yaoundé after participating in deliberations marking the 14th summit of La francophonie that held in Kinshasa – Democratic Republic Congo from the 12th to the 14th October 2012.

The close to twenty-minute audience took place at the People’s Palace where the 14th Summit meeting of the Francophonie was being held.

The inaugural session of the  Special Criminal Court set up following law n° 2011/028 of 14th December 2011, has been organised in Yaounde.

The 8th convention of the Social Democratic Front, SDF, opens in Bamenda North West region.
