Cocoa process: A new initiative from the private sector

The foundation stone for the construction of a factory for the processing of cocoa products has been laid in Douala. The project which is a joint initiative of government and a private company in the USA is expected to cost over 13 billion CFA francs. Some one thousand direct jobs will come from the project.
