Les Brasseries Du Cameroun Redeploys Staff in Colour, Style

Some senior officials of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun agency in the Southwest Region have been transferred to various positions of responsibilities in the company’s head office in Douala and the Bafoussam agency respectively.

With a touch of colour, style and lots of music, the staff of the Southwest Agency and their guests, of the leading brewery company in Cameroon, gathered at the sumptuous hall of Buea Chariot Hotel to send-off Daniel Aurelien Onana Ndjodo, the Southwest Regional Director of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun, Julius Wysenyuy, the Regional Director of Sales, Timothy Wokam, Roving Chief of Centre and Divine Fobiteh, who has left Kumba as Branch Manager of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun to the headquarter in Douala as Assistant Distribution Manager for Cameroon.

Onana moves on as Director of Marketing, Les Brasseries Du Cameroun in the Douala Head office, while Wysenyuy, who has served for 31 years already, goes to the head quarter as Chief of Service in charge of exporting Les Brasseries Du Cameroun drinks and conceded centres in Douala. Wokam has left the Southwest Agency for the West Agency of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun in Bafoussam.

In a spirit of conviviality, Fils Hubert Lembe, Southwest Regional Human Resource Manager of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun, wished the staff that are moving on to new challenges good luck, noting that they will never be forgotten and they should not also forget those they have left behind.

Staff representative, Jean Pierre Tadzong said; “We have come to support our colleagues who have been redeployed. They have recorded huge successes in the Southwest Region and we pray they do same in their new stations.” To those coming in Tadzong was reassuring; “We will support and give them the best of collaboration.”

A colleague to the out gone staff, Jean Marie Heumou, Chief of District for Exploitation found them to be humble, results oriented, hard working, individuals with strong sense of synergy, social cohesion, openness and ready to face professional challenges. “I say good luck in their new outings,” he added.

Alain Monthé Nankam, representing the transporters of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun said it is only a temporal separation and not a divorce, so, we should rejoice and pray for them.

A solid partner of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun, Charles Ndi Chia of Phoenix Consultancy and Editor-In-Chief, The Post Newspaper, retraced his long standing relationship with Les Brasseries Du Cameroun, from his days as a student of GTHS Ombe, a neighbour to the Southwest Agency and today as a business partner. He described Onana as a soldier in liquor business while wishing Wysenyuy, Wokam and Fobiteh well in their newfound responsibilities.

Reactions

Wysenyuy, who will be replaced by Gustave Zoua Ayissi as the new Regional Director of Sales, Les Brasseries Du Cameroun, Southwest Agency, expressed gratitude to all his collaborators and the civil administration of the Region for ensuring security, which enabled the company to make good sales. He added; “We have done our best with the means that we had, with the assistance of our collaborators and now we are moving elsewhere to pursue the missions of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun.”

An upbeat Onana said the is a time to come and a time to go. “This is our time to go and embrace new challenges, after a time well spent, working hard and sometimes under pressure with my collaborators,” he mentioned.

The ambiance and colour-packed send-off ceremony had musical spice from Emmanuel Kimbi, the 2012 winner of the Les Brasseries Du Cameroun sponsored National Song Competition, with backing from the Beaufort Lager Band, owned by Les Brasseries Du Cameroun.

Amongst the guests at the splendid party were; the SDO for Fako Division, Zang III, the DO of Buea, Paul Kouam Wokam and many business partners of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun resident in the Southwest Region.
