Sympathizers gathered at the Banda neighborhood in Soa, Yaounde to condole with a family of a deceased 15 months old Agore Ndoumo Jean Arthur. Agore was sodomized to death and thrown into a septic tank behind their family residence.
After a thorough search of the deceased by members of his family alongside the police without any trace of his where about, Albert Amballa Martial, a cousin to the deceased, out of curiosity opened the three holes of a septic tank behind their house that was each covered with a piece of zinc.
In one of them lies the body of the 15 months old Agore floating on the water inside the septic tank. There was no sign of swollen stomach to indicate he drowned.
Ngonoh Marie Cecile, mother of the child observed carefully and realized blood oozing from the child’s anus.
According to Chief Onana, Inspector of Police investigating the atrocity, the deceased had been sodomized in one of
the rooms in a dilapidated building behind the family residence and thrown into the septic tank.
From the time when the child got missing to when he was discovered is too short for the act to have taken place far away from their house, Chief Onana told iCameroon. Moreover the child’s stomach contains no water for someone to believe he got drown in the septic tank.
As investigation continues on the
sodomized victim, a nurse from Soa District Hospital was on the scene to conduct a post mortem. The nurse however, refused to disclose the results of his examination to iCameroon.
Biloa Ngono Epouse Mballa Abella, elder sister to the deceased mother, told iCameroon that the incident is just one amongst others that has been happening in her compound.
Some time ago, a younger sister to the
victim’s mother, found a man, in the same compound, holding a machete in one hand and a black plastic containing a bucket in another. The young sister alerted the police who arrested the culprit and took him to the station for interrogation. But she never had any feed back on the matter from the police.
