Prof. David Walker who is in Cameroon for 3rd time for this same program says, “This is a practical work which could be done back in the U.S. but globalization and cultural interaction is of the very essence. The students need to interact with people of different background and culture as the world becomes a global village.  Unlike in other places we visit, in Cameroon we do not worry about safety because it is really peaceful here. ”

Brittany, one of the students from U.S., confirms it is peaceful although a few of them got sick due to the climate. As the group prepares to visit other places like the Foumban Royal Palace and the beaches of Kribi, their one month stay will end on June 1st, and it will be graced with a cultural evening and a colloquium  at the University of Buea.
