Bring More Men into CMA – Mgr Bushu

The newly inaugurated 10-man executive of the Catholic Men Association, CMA, in the Diocese of Buea has been entreated to bring more men into the CMA and the Church.

In his homily during a mass preceding the installation, Mgr. Immanuel Bushu, Bishop of the Diocese of Buea told the CMA executive and their members; “Shape your lives after that of St. Joseph and be real ambassadors of the CMA and the church through your everyday activities, which should be able to draw more and more men into the fold of CMA and the catholic church.”

The prelate of the Diocese of Buea told the CMA executive that as they pursue their new responsibilities across the Diocese, they should do it according to the spirit of St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ.

The 10-man CMA Diocesan Executive that was recently elected at a General Assembly meeting in Buea include; Roland Kwemain from Buea, President, Evaristus Ngong, Vice President from Limbe, Richard Njemfoa Taku from Tiko is the Secretary General, the Assistant Secretary is Simon Niba from Limbe, the Treasurer is Buea-based Bungo Fongo, Ephraim Ntungwe is the Financial Secretary from Kumba, Ransome Kome from Buea is the Publicity Secretary, Francis Nkweke in Mundemba is the Organising Secretary, while Rev.Fr Jude Thaddeus Mbi is the CMA Diocesan Chaplain for the Diocese of Buea.

In line with the commitment taken by the Roland Kwemain led team, the CMA Diocesan Executive of Buea Diocese joined their brothers from across the country recently, in an enlarged executive meeting that took place at the Pastoral Centre in the Diocese of Kumbo, Northwest Region. Discussions were centred on the theme; St. Joseph, Man of Action.
