Rep of Benin, Cameroun, Others Scuttle Rice Sufficiency Plans

[This Day]The Federal Government’s plans to make Nigeria self sufficient in local rice production has suffered a hitch, as Nigeria’s neighbours, especially the Republic of Benin and Cameroun, now serve as outposts for receiving rice meant for Nigeria and later smuggled into the country.
