Garda reserve accused of social welfare fraud

A FORMER member of the Garda reserves has appeared in court charged with social welfare fraud totalling almost €37,000. A native of Cameroon, Charles Eyombo, 38, residing at The Courtyard, Brú na Gruadán, Castletroy, is accused of making a false declaration on his jobseekers’ allowance and child benefit application earlier this year.
