Brazil 2014: FECAFOOT, Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to Lodge at Espirito Santo

The management of the Normalisation Committee of Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, has clinched a deal with the authorities of the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo, whose capital is Vitoria. According to the agreement, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the FECAFOOT delegation to the World Cup 2014 in Brazil will pitch camp at Espirito Santo for their world cup sojourn.

This is the content of a statement made public and signed by the President of the FECAFOOT Normalisation Committee, Prof. Joseph Owona.

In the FECAFOOT and the state of Espirito Santo agreement, the latter will carter and offer for free; lodging, feeding, transportation and make available access to cultural sites for the about 120 member FECAFOOT delegation during their stay in Brazil for the world football jamboree.

The agreement reached in Vitoria saw the Secretary General of the FECAFOOT Normalisation Committee, Tombi A Roko Sidiki putting pen on paper on behalf of his federation and His Excellency José RENATO CASAGRANDE, Governor of the state of Espirito Santo, signed for his Region, accompanied by football officials from the same Region.

The details of what the FECAFOOT Normalisation Committee is soliciting from the state of Espirito Santo include lodging and feeding for 120 persons as follows: 15 V.VIP, 30 VIP and 75 standard rooms, transportation to tourist, assistance in negotiating affordable prices for hired buses destined for the play grounds of the Indomitable Lions in Natal, Manaus and Brasilia and making available a space for a Cameroon Cultural Village.

The Normalisation Committee of FECAFOOT has embarked on the aforementioned agreement in the spirit of Cameroon’s participation at the 2014 FIFA World Cup that opens in Brazil come June 12 2014.
