Monday, February 3 2014, President Paul Biya signed two decrees appointing some senior officials into government sponsored universities across Cameroon. In Decree No: 2014/048 of February 3 2014, the following were appointed; University of Bamenda – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Teaching, Professionalisation and Development of Information and Communication Technologies; Prof. Victor Julius Ngoh, formerly Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Research, Cooperation and Relations with the Business World in the University of Buea. He replaces Prof Etienne Ze Amvela, retired.

University of Buea – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Research, Cooperation and Relations with the Business World, Charles Epah Fonkeng, Associate Professor. Formerly Inspector of Academic Affairs No. 3 at the Ministry of Higher Education. He replaces Prof. Victor Julius Ngoh.
Registrar of the University of Buea – Roland Ndip, Associate Professor, formerly in service at the Faculty of Science, University of Buea. He takes over from Prof. Samson Negbo Abangma, retired.
University of Douala – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Research, Cooperation and Relations with the Business World, Mrs Helene Kingue Ntone Kouo, Associate Professor.
Secretary General – Mrs Alice Delphine Tang, Associate Professor.
University of Dschang – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Internal Control and Evaluation, Prof. Leopold Donfack Sokeng.
University of Maroua – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Research, Cooperation and Relations with the Business World, Charles Ossah Eboto, Associate Professor.
University of Ngaoundere – Secretary General; Godefroy Nguima Mawoung, Associate Professor.
University of Yaounde I – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Teaching, Professionalisation and Development of Information and Communication Technologies; Prof. Daniel Abwa.
University of Yaoundé II – Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Internal Control and Evaluation, Prof. Roger Tsafack Nanfosso.
In the second Decree No: 2014/049 of February 3 2014, the following appointments were made; University of Bamenda – Director of Students Affairs, Charles Ntungwen Fokunang, Lecturer, formerly Vice Dean in charge of Programming and Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Science, University of Bamenda. He replaces Mrs Alice Delphine Tang, redeployed to University of Douala.
Director of Higher Teacher Training College, Prof. Augustine Nsamenang Bame, formerly Head of the Cooperation Division at the University of Bamenda, in replacement of Mr. Cernelius Lukong Fai.
University of Douala – Adviser to the Rector, Prof. Remy Sylvestre Bouelet Ivaha Mbembe.
Faculty of Political Science and Judicial Affairs – Dean, Prof. Andre Akam Akam.
Director of Academic Affairs and Cooperation, James Mouangue Kobila, Associate Professor.
