EIFORCES Awards Certificates to African Special Security Forces Trainees

The International School for Security Forces (EIFORCES) awarded certificates of completion on a 5-month special security training program to 15 peace keeping officers (Police and the Gendarmeries) from Mali, Congo, Gabon, Chad, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic and Cameroon. Sixteen officers started the training, but one officer from Central African Republic died before he completed the course.

The event took place at the Yaoundé Conference Center, and it was chaired by the Delegate General for National Security, Martin Mbarga Nguelle.  Also present at the ceremony was the Director of EIFORCES, Lemondem Samuel and the recently appointed Colonel of the Gendarmerie, Joseph Enow.

to train Special Forces that can maintain peace and security in participating countries.

The Delegate believes the laureates have been well trained and are ready to neutralize any situation that endangers peace.  He called on each one of them to be ambassadors of peace as they execute their duties at their respective countries.

Director Lemondem Samuel explained that that EIFORCES is noted for excellence in the sub African region.  He admits confidently that the officers will be exceptional whenever they are faced with a situation that warrants special military skills. He wished them well, and that they should go and serve in truth and honesty.

iCameroon asked one of the trainees, Fotabe Samuel, a Commissioner of Police, what he learned from the course. The Commissioner acknowledged that he has learned much during the 5 months training at EIFORCES, and he hopes to exercise the skills he has learnt during chaotic situations. He, however, prays for Cameroon to remain a peaceful nation.
