[Cameroon Tribune]Several properties, including a segment of a residence were on Sunday, September 7, 2014 destroyed by a fire outbreak in an area called Babylon in the New Bell neighbourhood. The fire, which resulted from a lit candle, completely razed one of seven rooms of the house a few blocks away from Hotel La Côte. In it were a wooden wardrobe, clothing and cutlery, among others. The incident comes less than a week after a similar disaster killed five people at the Madagascar neighbourhood in Douala.
