The new look Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will on Wednesday, September 10 2014 take on their Ivorian counterparts, the Elephants at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium. It will be Day 2 matches for Group D in the ongoing qualifiers for the 2015 AFCON slated for the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon had on Saturday, September 6 2014 crushed the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo, 2-0 in Lubumbashi. This result puts Cameroon in the pole position of Group D, with 3 points, while the Ivorians also have 3 points after bashing Sierra-Leone 2-1 in Abidjan.

The Volker Finke led team of Cameroon is confident that they will make another victory at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium, but the German born trainer for the Lions is also interested in building a lasting national team for Cameroon than just picking up victories. This view was also corroborated by assistant captain of the Lions, Eric-Maxime Choupo Moting, who noted in a pre-match press conference that a team and enthusiastic spirit will take Cameroon further in the AFCON 2015 qualifiers.

As the Lions clash with the Ivorians in Yaounde,  on Wednesday, September 10 2014, the DRC and Sierra Leone that lost their opener in Group D, will also be playing in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
