Intel, Cray to collaborate on $200M supercomputer deal

Intel and Cray are teaming up to build one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers, set to be delivered in 2018. The new rig will blow the doors off anything currently available, but the DOE isn’t saying what it’ll use the system for… at least not yet.
