[Cameroon Tribune] The 6th edition of the Yaounde international open golf tournament kicked off on Sunday May 3rd with the participation of over 60 athletes drawn from 16 countries with the largest contingent coming from Nigeria. Speaking during the opening ceremony at the Yaounde golf club, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Adoum Garoua, urged the officials of the federation to make the sport accessible to all saying golf has ceased from being an elite sport to one that can be practiced by anybody.
