Environment, Nature Protection – Fighting Climate Change As Priority

[Cameroon Tribune] The ravaging effects of climate change are a cause for concern in the Ministry of the Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development. With a draft budget that stands at FCFA 7.5 billion for 2016, Environment Minister, Hele Pierre, told the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly on November 26, 2015 that one of the priority activities will be to promote the resilience, mitigation and adaptation measures to the harmful effects of climate change.
