YOSA, the lone Anglophone side finished the first round at the fourth position after 17 games played. The Bamenda-based club registered eight victories, four draws, and suffered five defeatas in its 17 games played. They also scored a total of 15 goals and conceding 14.  Out of their eight victories recorded, six has been at home.

They have enjoyed some great moments like their 2-1 defeat at home against Union of Douala, 1-1 draw against Coton in Garoua, 1-0 away victory against Bamboutos of Mbouda. However, their nightmare was their 0-3 defeat way in the hands of league leaders, UMS of Loum.{loadposition myposition}

It has been a bad year for the club from the North Region of the country has they have failed so far to prove their supremacy in the first round of the championship. Currently at the sixth position, the Garoua boys have recorded 6 victories, 8 draws and 3 defeats in 17 games. Also, their goal scoring record has not been convincing. They have scored a total of 16 goals and have conceded 12.

At the top of the table, UMS de Loum leads with 31 points, Unisport de Bafang-30, Union Sportive de Douala with 29 points.

Meanwhile, a the relegation zone, Lion Blessé de Fotouni-16 points,  Botafogo FC-15 points and Cosmos FA du Mbam -13 points, are all battling for survival.

UMS de Loum has the best defends after the opposite teams have found the back of their net eight times in 17 games. The weakest defends is that of Dragon Club de Yaoundé that has conceded 25 goals in 17 games and are just a point shy of the relegation zone.

As for the best attack, Union Sportive de Douala are first with 22 goals in 17 games and the poorest attack is that of  Cosmos FA du Mbam that has so far scored just eight goals against 22 conceded.
